“Your imagination is your preview to life’s coming attractions.”
There can come a time in our lives when we reach a cross roads in life and/or work and we want to change or improve things. Perhaps we want to do something different, fulfill a personal ambition or start to live and work in a way that is more in tune with who we are.
This can be difficult to do on our own; working out exactly what it is we want to do and whether it is the right path. We may even sabotage our thinking, settling for what we feel we should or ought to be doing; losing faith in ourselves. Yet we also know, deep down, that if we don’t do something, we will end up feeling frustrated and wondering ‘what if…’, maybe even feeling we’ve have let ourselves down somehow.
This is where personal coaching can make a real difference. Working with a professional coach, you are not alone and we can work together, helping you succeed.
Coaching is a personal professional one to one process that is forward looking, creative, challenging and above all supportive. It is private, confidential and non-judgemental – focussing on you, your aims and your success. Working together, you and your coach co-create a safe space for you to explore, reflect on and move forward with your aims. It is all about you and what you want to achieve in your life. It is working alongside you, helping find your unique confident way in which you want to achieve whatever it is you want to achieve.
If you are thinking your coaching aims are just a dream, a wish, something that you could never really do. Stop.
Your dreams are the start of your journey. They are ideas waiting to be explored and you never know where they may lead. Even the seemingly outrageous can lead to a very practical and new reality. You may find that some well thought out small changes make a very big difference; or you may find that you want and need to make bigger, more radical changes. You will never know want is possible and what you are capable of unless you explore it.
For more inspiration take a look at these personal stories of change. These are all people I have worked with who have made real changes to the way they live and work.
Every one of us is unique and what we want to achieve and how we achieve it will also be unique. It therefore makes sense that your coaching programme should also be unique to you. So, I don’t offer standard coaching programmes. Instead I design a programme with you, that fits with who you are, what you want to achieve and how you want to get there.
All coaching programmes consist of a series of one to one sessions over a period of time. Each session may be 1 to 2 hours long and we may meet weekly, monthly or anywhere in between. We could meet in person here at Élan, by phone, online or a mix. All of this is worked out with you ensuring your programme fits with what you want to work on and what works best for you.
Your first step
If you would like to talk through how coaching may be able to support you, the first step is to contact me for a free no obligation chat. Here we can talk about what has brought you to coaching, answer all your questions, talk about what is involved with coaching and see if coaching is right for you.
If, after your initial call, you would like to go ahead we would set up your first coaching session.
Your first coaching session
Your first coaching session is one of the most important as we will explore what you want to achieve in detail, design your coaching programme and agree how we are to work together to achieve your coaching aims. Your coaching programme will then continue as agreed.
